G is for Green

Today we did G is for Green. Still keeping with the St. Patrick's Day theme for the week.

I started by getting the stuff ready. I cut out a G with regular paper, and collected items that were green.

Then the kids all colored the G with different types of green colors- markers, crayons, pencil crayons.

Then we glued different green items on the letter. We used cut up paper, tissue paper, Popsicle sticks, foam stickers, and pom pom balls. (we were going to put glitter too, but I forgot to get it out!)

And then we had our final project!
During this we talked about the letters in the word GREEN (I wrote them out on the letter), and other things that start with the letter G, and also what things are green!
